Arsema Berhanu

I’m an undergraduate student majoring in molecular biology at Princeton. I joined the lab because I was especially drawn to its goals and using biological research to address challenges in sustainability. My work involves investigating the formation of tubules within the pyrenoids of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. I study a key protein involved in this process and work to better understand its function. Outside of the lab, I enjoy cooking, reading, and traveling.
